David De Witt, Director for NueVista Group’s IT Leadership Practice, has more than 25 years experience in business analysis, organizational leadership, management consulting, business process improvement, and Information Systems optimization in a variety of industries. He holds the Certified Business Analysis Professional ® designation from the International Institute of Business Analysis ® and the Certified Business Architect ® from the Business Architects Association ®.

David’s industry expertise includes his extensive work in supply chain and third party logistics, financial services, energy utilities, health care, and telecommunications. He has mentored companies in their strategic planning and management of Information Systems, leading initiatives in IS department governance, business alignment, staffing, infrastructure development, and especially regulatory compliance support and reporting. David has facilitated cross-functional, multi-level work groups through a variety of processes, including strategic planning, business requirements development, business decision making, product design, and process improvement. He has worked in businesses of all sizes as well as non-profit organizations. Collaborating with his clients, he has designed group work processes and methods that make the most of everyone's time and provide a reliable means to achieve business objectives. As a facilitated session leader, David has employed this robust methodology to improve customer satisfaction, insure participation of all stakeholders, and eliminate the need to revisit issues. Through his facilitated, structured, documented sessions the client team can focus on the task at hand, avoid the meeting pitfalls that can cause frustration, and obtain high quality, tangible results in a compressed timeframe.

He is active in several professional organizations that foster best practices for the delivery of successful business projects. David has served as the Vice President for Marketing and Relationships of the Chicagoland Chapter of the International Institute for Business Analysis and Treasurer for the Chicago Chapter of the International Association of Facilitators.



Diana DeLorier  joined the IIBA in 2013, and values the professional development and business relationship building opportunities that the IIBA Chicagoland Chapter has to offer. She served as Director of Elections for the Chapter for 2015-16. She also completed professional courses and certifications, including the Business Analyst Certificate Program at DePaul University, Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, ITIL Foundation Service Management Best Practices, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM).
Diana draws on her prior application development experience to help bridge the gap between Business and IT. She is currently Business Analyst at Gallagher Bassett, Inc., working on strategic projects to develop new software and business processes for Finance and Sales.



David Saboe is a Program Business Analyst and Agile Coach. He also leads the Business Analysis Community of Practice at his organization and is passionate about helping Business Analysts improve their skills and achieve top performance. Dave has been in the Business Analysis and Project Management field over 16 years and has managed teams of Business Analysts. He recently helped a large financial institution to transition to an agile delivery model to deliver value to customers faster. Dave earned his Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) and Project Management Professional (PMP®) designations and is a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), and Agile Coach. He was recently a speaker at BA World Chicago and hosts a podcast called 'Mastering Business Analysis' with the goal of enhancing the skills of all Business Analysts.



Joanna Drapala is a Lead Business Systems Specialist at the Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP), Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. Joanna has been involved with the project to create a series of transparent and investable indexes that not only provide the foundation for new areas of research, but also serve as benchmarks for investment vehicles, such as ETFs. She also leads the Business Analysis Community of Practice (BACoP) in her organization. She earned her Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) designation from IIBA in 2016. Joanna has a M.S. in Information Systems with a concentration in Business Analysis and Systems Analysis and a B.S. in Finance, both from De Paul University. She is an Adjunct Faculty member at DePaul University’s Department of Management and Loyola University’s Department of Information Systems and Operations Management. In 2014 Joanna presented at the Business Analyst World Conference in Chicago. The topic of her presentation was the role of a Business Analyst on an Agile Project.

Joanna is passionate about the business analysis profession and enjoys helping others succeed and successfully navigate through their business analysis journey.

In her role as VP of Education, one of Joanna’s responsibilities is to manage the creation and delivery of the IIBA’s preparation workshop for the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) exam.





Greg Kulander is a Senior Business Systems Analyst at Geneca, and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) through the IIBA.

He has been working primarily as a Business Analyst or Project Manager on software projects since 1999 for such companies as JP Morgan Chase, U.S. Bank and NAVTEQ (now NOKIA “HERE”). He has helped lead successful projects in government, healthcare and private sector e-commerce, and was a founding member of the U.S. Bank Business Analysis Center of Excellence.

He has a M.S. in Management Information Systems from Benedictine University, and a B.S. in Marketing from the University of New Orleans.

Greg thoroughly enjoys seeing a project go live and watching an organization reap the benefits of well-made software.




Charlene Ceci is an active Core Team member of the IIBA Chicagoland Chapter, and has presented on Business Analysis topics at conferences and events.

Charlene is an experienced Senior Project Manager and Senior Lead Business Analyst, with extensive experience in the following areas: data collection systems, project auditing, full life-cycle development – both PMBOK and Agile/Scrum, test planning/execution and system implementation. Charlene has a proven ability to streamline processes, rapidly define requirements, control scope, mitigate risks, and delegate tasks. She leads all project phases, resulting in the implementation of powerful systems, on time, and within budget. She builds high-performing teams with local, virtual and off-shore resources. She is results-focused, with emphasis on collaboration, quality, accountability, and sustainability. Charlene is CBAP and PMP certified.

Charlene has held leadership and consulting roles in business analysis and project management for companies that include Geneca, Mercer, Redbox, HCSC (BlueCross BlueShield) and Experian.
